I’m 5’10" and way 190 lbs. I have started working out and a local gym and have signed up with a personal trainer, starting in a week. I have done Weight Watchers in the past, and think it is an awesome program, I am probably going to go back to doing that as well. I just want to hear from other people what they think really works. No quick fix fad diets please. I know I didn’t gain weight overnight and am not looking to lose overnight. I just want to do something that is healthy and long lasting (provided I stick with it). I really haven’t set a goal weight for myself, I just want a smaller butt, thighs, and tone the tummy.

Just live a healthier lifestyle. Your personal trainer can help you with this. Possibly get a dietician to choose a good eating plan for you.

It sounds like you are on the right track already. Stick with working out 2-3 times per week and then just watch what you eat. Eat until you’re full and that’s it. You should lose weight and get in shape at a healthy pace.
