The Ideal Protein Weight Loss program  is a 4 phase RETRAINING Eating Program.  It helps to stabilize the pancreas and blood sugar levels which burn fat and maintain muscle and other lean tissue.

One of the goals of the Ideal treatment is to cause the body to delve into its energy reserves-into stored fat-for its energy, thereby facilitating fat loss.

The Ideal Protein program was originally designed to keep muscle mass for high-performance athletes and regulate their insulin levels.  The diet targets energy and good, safe nutrition.

The 4 Phases

Your first step is to schedule a consult with our office ($50 fee and $150 for your first week of foods and supplements).  The consult fee and the fee for the first week’s foods and supplements are due at the time of your appointment.

Stage 1: You start out using a packet as the basis of 3 of your 4 meals each day-you follow this until you have reached 90% of your weight loss goal. Average Cost: $85 per week

Stage 2: You reduce the Ideal foods to 2 per day and continue the Ideal plan until you’ve reached 100% of your goal. Average Cost: $60 per week

Stage 3: For weight loss stabilization, you will reintroduce moderate amounts of fats and carbohydrates to your diet for 14 days. Average Cost: $30 per week

Stage 4: You continue to eat the way you have by this time learned to eat by choosing healthy foods and the right combinations of foods.

General Information About the Ideal Protein Diet

Our Ideal Protein Diet was designed specifically for rapid weight loss while sparing muscle mass.  Our unique protocol was developed in France 25 years ago by Dr. Tran Tien Chanh, MD PhD who made his primary focus on nutricianal research and the treatment of obesity.

In a nutshell, the Ideal Protein Weight Loss system is designed in 4 easy steps.  It’s primary focus helps stabilize the pancreas and blood sugar levels while burning fat, maintaining muscle and other lean tissue.   Excellent for cellulite reduction and is currently being used in over 2500 Professional Establishments in the US within the last 8 years with great success.

How Does It Work

According to Dr. Tran Tien, “The cause of most weight issues in a modern society is insulin dysfunction. A diet grossly disproportionate in its share of saturated fats and sugars, such as in breads, cereals, muffins, cakes, pastries, pasta, pizza, rice, corn – very much like the North American diet – causes the pancreas to produce an overabundance of insulin, which stays in the system and puts the blood sugar level in a negative balance.”

In over abundance of insulin in your body leads to constant sugar cravings and weight gain.  It’s pretty ironic how insulin levels work within the body; the end result being that insulin causes weight gain!

The way it works is….. Insulin’s function in the body is to regulate your blood sugar levels.  Note that insulin is also the hormone that helps to transport fat into the cells.  Additionally, to make matter worse, insulin also LOCKS the fat in the fat cell and does not allow it to be used as a source of energy.  So what happens now?  Because the blood sugar has dropped (remember your body now can’t access the fat as a fuel source now) it will create sugar cravings.  Now the vicious cycle continues.

So what does the Ideal Protein Diet do for your sugar levels?  The Ideal Protein Diet will allow the bodies ability to digest sugars properly by regulating insulin level in your body by giving the pancreas a break ad by limiting simple and complex carbs until you reach your weight goal.

Your Body Can Now lives off its Own Fat Reserves

Lets understand how the body will burn its own fat reserves.  The body gets its energy from 3 sources:

  1. Glycogen, which are carbohydrates
  2. Protein
  3. Fats

The body first goes to your simple and complex carbohydrate reserves, then the protein and then finally the fats.  If you limit the carbohydrates, you are putting into your body it has less to go through; therefore it quickly goes to the protein you’ve just put in your body for energy, then to the fats.

A person who is not losing weight, typically has approximately 1-2% of their bodies reserves from carbs, approximately 19% from their muscle mass and then finally 79% of their body reserves from fat.
