Your Last Diet Handout

The initial consultation cost is  a $50 fee plus $150 for your first week of foods and supplements.  The consult fee and the fee for the first week’s foods and supplements are due at the time of your appointment.

You will be provided with a packet of information which will detail which foods you are allowed to have, which foods your are not allowed to have, information about the diet and a handy “Daily Journal” to record your daily intake.  The Daily Journal is critical to your success; it allows your Coach to review your daily intake to monitor your results.

This diet starts you out by using the Ideal Protein pre-measured protein shakes AND by using foods you can purchase at the grocery store.  The first phase primarily puts you in boot camp which enables rapid Weight Loss safely.  The protein shakes have been designed to provide your body with all the vitamins and nutrients it needs to lose weight safely, yet quickly.

Stage 1:

You start out using an Ideal Protein packet as the basis of 3 of your 4 meals each day.  You eat a low-carb, low-fat “regular” dinner. You follow this until you have reached 70-80% of your weight loss goal.

  • Breakfast – Start your day with an Ideal Protein Shake first thing in the morning or an Ideal Protein Omelet, take your vitamins and you may have coffee if you desire.
  • Lunch – Prepare an Ideal Protein Shake and eat a large salad.  2 cups approved raw vegetables.
  • Snack – Drink another Ideal Protein Shake.
  • Dinner - Eat a regular dinner which will include a meat, cook vegetables and a salad.

Stage 2:

You reduce the Ideal foods to 2 per day, eating 2 low-carb, low-fat “regular” meals and continue the Ideal plan until you’ve reached 100% of your goal.

  • Breakfast – Start your day with an Ideal Protein Shake first thing in the morning or an Ideal Protein Omelet, take your vitamins and you may have coffee if you desire.
  • Lunch – Eat meat (protein) and eat a large salad.  2 cups approved raw vegetables.
  • SnackDrink another Ideal Protein Shake.
  • Dinner - Eat a regular dinner which will include a meat, cook vegetables and a salad.

Depending on how your Ideal Protein Coach or Health Care Trainer wants to customize your weight loss program, they may decide to include restrictive foods such as bars, chilis or other Ideal Protein restrictive foods.

Stage 3:

For weight loss stabilization, you will re-introduce moderate amounts of fats and carbohydrates to your diet for 14 days. You only have 1 Ideal packet per day with 2 other regular meals.

Stage 4:

You continue to eat the way you have been taught.  By this time learned to eat in a much healthier fashion, choosing healthy foods and the right combinations of foods.  As a result, you are able to maintain your ideal weight while still enjoying all the foods you like, but in moderate amounts.

Special Notes:

Drink lots of water! Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses (8 oz. each) per day. If you have coffee or caffeinated tea, drink 2 glasses of water for each cup.

Season your food with pink sea salt as the Ideal Diet is low in sodium and you will not be eating the usual high-sodium foods such as cheese or deli meats. Use seasonings, like ginger, sage, nutmeg, cinnamon, rosemary, etc. Use your imagination to enhance the food. Be careful though; always check nutrition labels and ingredients!

Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil while preparing vegetables or lean protein. This is the maximum amount, but it is required.
