I heard on Y! Answers of a vegan who didn’t eat gluten by choice apparently (they didn’t appear to suffer from celiac disease). Are there any pros/reasons that you can think of that would convince a vegan to go gluten-free if they didn’t suffer from celiac disease? Are there certain health benefits or anything?

Some people say that eating a gluten free diet is beneficial for neurological and mental conditions like ADHD, Autism and even anxiety and depression. Some people don’t eat it because they just think it’s healthier not to. Personally I don’t think it makes any difference if you don’t have any intolerance to gluten. I’ve also noticed that some people think they have a gluten intolerance when it’s really a blood sugar problem from eating white refined grain products (white bread, white pasta, etc) and they’re fine with whole grains.

I am reading all about this gluten free diet, and find it odd. Can anyone explain the scientific reasoning behind it?

I really would love to lose a couple of inches off of my waist. I have tried dieting and still haven’t been able to Lose Inches. I am no worried about my weight so much, just my size. Any thoughts?

try eating less generally. In the summertime, it’s easy to eat a ton because you’re home a lot more where food is accessible. I just try to eat only when I’m hungry. Also, I try to jog / take a 5 minute bike ride up a hill every other day. I’ve been doing this for 4 weeks and I am already seeing results!

“Commandment #4. Understand That Weight Loss Success Is NOT About FoodBeing overweight is actually not “the problem,” but a physical symptom of a non-physical problem. In other words, the excess weight you can see is only a symptom of a problem you can’t see. We fail because we can’t solve problems by attacking symptoms, but only by dealing with the real, root causes of obesity.
Commandment #5. Know Who You Are Losing Weight ForWho are you really trying to please or impress by losing weight? The only acceptable person to lose weight for is you. If your goal is to please or impress anyone else, you are already in trouble. Getting to your healthiest weight is one thing in life that really should be “all about you.
